Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge - CAC

Welcome! Today I am posting my project for the Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge. This weeks cartridge is Create-a-Critter - yay, definitely one of my favorites!!

The card base is from Lacy Labels - I welded two of the images together, then created a slightly smaller label to nest inside. Then I cut the puppy and his bowl and bone. I decided to try my brand new PK Critter Faces stamps - I actually used to stamps. I wanted the bigger nose from one but really liked the mouth and "happy" eyes from another so I used both! LOL

The ribbon is from Michael's - when they had it on sale a couple of months ago I bought almost every color. LOL Now I have this ribbon in blue, red, pink, dark purple, lavender, green, orange and black. Whew!

The sentiment is from our Scrappy Moms Stamps Furry Friends set. :)

I hope you enjoyed my card and that you will join us for the challenge with your own critter creation!

My 1st tag! :)

Welcome to Monday, everyone!

So I decided to try my hand at making a decorative tag. I think it's not too bad for a 1st try - LOL

The tag is cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. The flower is made with a strip of paper, 12" x 3/4" and pleated around in a circle. Then you glue the flower to a 1 1/4" circle to give it stability. The grass at the bottom is make with the MS grass edge border punch (gotta LOVE this punch) and the leaves are from a Papershapers Folk Heart punch. The doily behind the flower is a MS Paper Doily and I inked the edge canary yellow and covered the ink with Stickles. The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Polka Dots embossing folder :)

I made the stem with a stamp from our new Scrappy Moms Stamps Furry Friends set. I curved the stamp as I put it on the block to make the wave in the stem - cute, huh? That was the 1st time I have ever done this technique but I have seen other do it before and thought it was a great idea. :)
Thank you for visiting me today! I will be doing a new project tomorrow for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge with Scrappy Moms Stamps. Have a wonderful week!

Sensational Scenes Blog Hop!

Thank you so much for joining me for the Sensational Scenes blog hop hosted by the super sweet and oh, so crafty Christina from Card Creations and More by C! Christina is giving away a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice - you just need to leave a comment at each stop on the hop to be eligible. :)

You should be comming from Scrappy Critters - Didn't you just love Tammy's adorable card?!? :) For my project today I took a little "artistic license" with the concept of scene. I choose to feature a place not found on earth, but beyond the earth...

LOL - that's right my scene is in outerspace! :) The cute little alien and his space ship are both from Boys Will Be Boys. And he's on a wobble...
I created the planet in my gypsy with the circle and skinny oval from George and Basic Shapes. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Stamps' A Haunting We Will Go Stamp set and the bakers twine is also from Scrappy Moms.
For blog candy I will be giving away a brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps Furry Friends stamp set. Just leave me a comment with a way to get a hold of you. :)
Your next stop on the hop is the WONDERFUL Sandra!

Furry Friends Sneak Peek #2

Happy Thursday! Just a quick post and then I'm off to bed, LOL...

My card today uses Birthday Bash for the main image - I just LOVE this little Kangaroo and her baby! Soooo cute! I haven't made an easel card for a while so I thought, why not? And of course, I had to use some baker's twine! It's not an extremely detailed card, but sometimes simple is good - right? :)

I hope you like my 2nd project made with Furry Friends, thank you for stopping by!

Today I have a card made with our brand new Furry Friends stamp set by Scrappy Moms Stamps. I love how it turned out, and I hope you will too!

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE my Gypsy! So many cartridges and all cut on 2 passes - one for the card base and one for everything else. And I was so adament that I was NOT going to buy a Gypsy, EVER! LOL

Mi Amore Blog Hop!!

Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you for joining us for the Mi Amore Blog Hop! Didn't you just LOVE the wonderful project Tammy had to show you?!

My project is actually an "our" project, my girls and I made these! We decided to make altered mailboxes for them to take to school for Valentines. :)

So off to Target we went, these little mailboxes were $2.50 and so adorable. I let each girl pick what she wanted to put on their box and I think they did a great job!

First, we have Emily - she wanted to do a "Hug Monster". So we cut this cute little guy from Mini Monsters. Then we cut "Hugs and Kisses" and the cupid from Sweethearts. We used Songbird to weld and cut her name - and of course she had to use a little bling, as well. The stamp on the heart flag is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Love Notes set.

Then we have our little Beka, she wanted to do a penguin. But not just any penguin - one with a popsicle! LOL She also had to have a cupid and "Hugs and Kisses" like her big sister. The penguin and popsicle from Simply Charmed.

Here are my four wonderful Valentines - my husband and three little ones! I love them all more than words can say!

So now a little Valentine from me - I am giving away a Scrappy Moms stamp set of your choice. Just leave me a comment and a way to get in touch with you if you win. Of course, if you like what you see here I'd love for you to follow me and visit again!

Your next stop on the hop is the super talented Erin!

Have a wonderful week! {{{ HUGS }}}

Two Chicks and a Birthday Hop!

Photobucket
Welcome everyone! This weekend we are helping to celebrate Meighen and Nicole's Birthdays and the anniversery of both of their blogs! I'm sure you all enjoyed Shelly's wonderful project! :)

Today I am celebrating "National Whipped Cream Day" - which was on January 5th this year. I wanted to mix it up a little and do a non-traditional holiday, and I think I found one! LOL

My project is a birthday card that features the holiday's namesake - whipped cream! I used puff-paint to give the whipped cream texture, both in the bowl and on the beaters. :)

Recipe
Card base and layers - Twinkle Toes
Bowl w/spoon & hand mixer - From My Kitchen
Sentiment - Scrappy Moms Stamps - A Pinch and A Dash set
Face - PKS - Happy Lashes set
Ribbon - Michaels

Thank you so much for joining us today - I hope you enjoyed my little card. The next stop on the hop is the wonderful and creative Cathy!

If you've missed any stops along the way, you can go back to the beginning with Meighen.

Have a great day!
