Check this out...Tipsy Stylus!

This is a Tipsy Stylus - it's a bendable stylus that wraps around your finger. Here are the benefits according to the Tipsy website...

•The best stylus for the Gypsy!

•Feels like you are using your own finger but with more precision.

•Wraps comfortably around your finger.

•No more pick up and put down of the stylus, stays on your finger.

•Lets you do other tasks at the same time.

•Smooth tip won't scratch your screen.

•No more stressed or cramped hand.

•Use for hours with no pain

•Great if you have arthritis and find it hard to hold a regular stylus.

•Fun!

If you would like to try one they are giving them away for free for "Liking" them on Facebook - just pay the S&H. Click HERE to get yours. I just ordered my - the S&H was $3.99 and thought it looked interesting enough to give it a shot. Though I would share the info... {{{ HUGS }}}!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Smiley Cards

Hello, eveyone! Just a quick post today - unfortunately, I think I'm getting the stomach flu. Yuck!

As I am feeling so yucky, I had my oldest daughter, Emily, help me pick out all the papers last night. I know, that's what I get for putting off my challenge card until the last minute! LOL I think she wanted the card to be bright and fun! :)

The base and donut are from Smiley cards - I just hid the face so I could use the Happy Lashes set from PKS. The plate is from Savory and I used the negative space from the rim cut to laydown a layer of grey chalk. I tried to use the actual cut but the stamp was destorted over the the 2 layers of paper. So I figured out a way to make it look like there was a rim on the center of the plate. The sentiment is from Kids Incorporated by Scrappy Moms and the polka dot ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I just love this wired ribbon, I have 5 or 6 different colors - LOL!

We would love for you all to join us on the Terrific Tuesday Challenge this week! Can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs!

Music Blog Hop!

Happy Friday, everyone! Thank you for joining us for the Music Hop. I'm sure you loved Robin's creation!!

** A shout out to my inspiration for the design of this card - Liz from Liz's Paper Loft. Liz, you ROCK! Here is her original project. **

My choosen song is "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from the Wizard of Oz...

The card base is from lacy labels - two scalloped ovals welded together. The rainbow is from Lettering Delights, Banner Days set and the cloud is a Fiskar's punch (that I got a SMOKIN' deal on at Joanns). I used Peachy Keen Princess faces on the little cloud - so cute! The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps - Spring Fling set. The twine is also from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

Just in case you haven't heard the song here it is...

Your next stop on the hop is the very talented Paula!
Thank you for joining me today - have a wonderful day!

A cute little card by - Scrappy Emily :)

Happy Saturday! Thank goodness the week is over! We are on spring break next we here - so a little mini vacation. Oh, wait all 3 kids are home... "I'm bored"... "There's nothing to do"... VACATION?? What was I thinking? LOL :)

Today's project was made by my 9 year old, Emily. She told me that I was not "allowed" to use this sentimet for one of my Sping Fling sneak peeks because she already had an idea for a card she wanted to make. So without further ado....

The hat was a free svg file - you can download it HERE. She used the Quickuts large dots embossing folder and the Fiskar's Upper Crest border punch on the green paper. The little buckle is covered with yellow Stickles for shine. The sentiments and the bakers twine are from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

I hope you liked her little card - she is so proud of it. :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Sugar & Spice

Happy Tuesday! I am so excited to show you the project I made for this challenge! I love, love, love it!

That's right - is a gum holder! LOL I use Extra bubble gum in the 15 stick pack.

I made the box on my Gypsy with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and George and Basic Shapes - you can download the file here. Just a warning - I couldn't figure out how to make the "tick" marks to indicate where you fold so I had to use a box image and hide all the contours except the tick marks. So...it looks VERY UGLY but if you click on preview (the eye) you can see that it will cut just fine. LOL

Here is a picture (rough though it may be) so you can see how it gets folded. If you have any questions let me know. :)

The box is 10" x 6" so it will use most of a 12" x 12" paper. I recommend you use sturdy cardstock to help with the weight. I glued the twine on the inside of the box when I was putting it together so it comes out of the sides but doesn't show on the back of the box.

The little girls face is from Sugar & Spice (I just cut her head, not her body) and the "popping" bubble is a old punch from Emagination. I used PKS Happy Lashes for her face. I only stamped the eyes and nose - you can't really see the nose, but it's there. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps - Kids Incorporated set.

Thank you so much for taking a peek - I hope you can join us for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge! :)

Scrappy Moms Sneak Peak #2 - Kids Incorporated

Well, we made it to Friday! LOL :)

My project for today is from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps Kids Incorporated stamp set.

My little astronaut is from B is for Boy - isn't he cute? I have to admit he has a vauge resemblance to my son, as my oldest daughter told me as soon as she saw the card. LOL

The card base was made by welding 2 circles in my Gypsy. Then I used another circle with smaller circles and an oval cut out to form the terrain of the moon as the top layer. I used white glitter paper and Stickles to make the moon "glow". The rocket ship is from Just Because Cards and I used the water hose from Everyday Paper Dolls to for his life support hose. Oh, and, of course, the astronaut is ON A WOBBLE! LOL Seriously, if I could use one on every card I probably would... I think I'm addicted.

Here is the full Kids Incorporated set, in case you'd like to take a peek.

Thank you so much for visiting with me today - I hope you enjoyed my card. Have a wonderful Friday!

Sneak Peek Week - 1st project!

Thank you so much for visiting me today! Today starts the Scrappy Moms Stamps Sneak Peek Week for Kids Incorporated and Spring Fling! Yay!

My 1st project is from Spring Fling....

I used Spring Holiday Cards for the adorable gable box and used one of the base shapes to cut the window. Then I attached acetate to the inside of the window. The tag is from Lacy Labels.

If you follow me on FB then you might have seen that I just bought Make The Cut - so, of course, I had to find a cut to use right away. LOL I found this cute little Peep bunny svg file and cute 3 tiny ones for my tag.

Ok, so I don't actually have Peeps in the box but these are very similar, they are Brachs Chicks and Rabbits. The best comparison I can make is to Circus Peanuts - my family loves them so I decided to use them instead of Peeps. They also hold up a little better to the air too. :)

I use the "Hanging with my Peeps", here is the full set...

I hope you enjoyed my 1st project this week, please stop back by again when you have a chance!
