Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Mini Monsters!

It's Tuesday and time for another Terrific Tuesday Challenge! This time around the cartrigde is Mini Monsters. I LOVE Mini Monster, it's one of my very favorite ones so I was super excited about this TTC!

Both the spider web and spider are from MM. I stretched the web so it would fit the rectangle instead of being square. That messed with the thickness of the stands a little but I still like the effect. :)

I used white embossing powder for my sentiment, which is from our new SMS Bewitched set.

Thank you for taking a peek at my litte project - be sure to link your Mini Monsters project on the SMS blog for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice! Remember, you can use a similar cut if you don't have Mini Monsters. :)

Finally ... another Bewitched sneak peek! :)

Happy Tuesday! (or Weds since it's almost 11:00 Pacific and most of you won't read this until the morning. LOL) Actually, I have TWO projects to show you today...

The little bucket is from Joanns in the $1 section and I filled it with candies and a bubble wand from Target (I love those bubble - I highly recommend them!) The stamp is heat embossed so I could use a black paper. :)

The candy cane bag I found at the grocery store, of all places! I actually have candy corn in it so it would stay in a candy corn shape it it would be just as cute with other candies in it.

Here is the full Bewitched set -

I hope you enjoyed my projects today!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Halloween Hop!

Spooky Saturday to everyone!

Thank you for joining us on the Scrappy Moms Stamps Halloween Hop! I don't know about you but Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! The kids and I always pick out costumes as soon as they hit the shelves and the candy wait patiently around out house for several weeks for Trick or Treaters to come. :)

For this Halloween I decided to try to make a banner. I learned a few lessons on the way...one being - if you are going to use a rosette, cut a shape or circle to go directly top of it before you add your letter. I didn't and... well, you'll see!

LOL It's not horrible but I wish I would have added solid colored circles beneath my "BOO". Here are some close-ups of the individual letters...

I used Birthday Bash for the banner, Happy Hauntings for the font and the witches hat, the spider is from Doodlecharms, and the bat is from Paper Doll Dress Up. I use 3 stamps from our brand new Halloween set Bewitched -

All in all, I had fun making this project - it was a little time consuming but it turned out pretty well. Oh, and did you notice all my cute costume rubber duckies? I found them at Michaels for $1 a pair!! :D

I hope you found my project frightfully enjoyable! Your next stop on the hop is the FANG-TASTIC Lauren from Lauren's Creative! (Be sure to leave a comment on each stop for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice!)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Country Life!

Howdy, howdy! Thank you so much for joining me for my Terrific Tuesday Challenge project today! This weeks cart is County Life....

I used Lacy Labels for the base and the stamp is from SMS Spring Fling set.

Boy, this card was lots of work. I had it all planned out on my Gypsy but did NOT do a good job of space planning! LOL I didn't have enough space for my stamp, so I tried to make it a 2 line stamp and didn't like it. Then I tried (since I had already "ruined" the card) to see if I could stamp it across the sun - yuck! So I wound of pulling off all the layers and cutting them again (well, not the clothesline - that, I managed to salvage). I actually moved all the hill layers up about .5" so that less of the sun shows but I was able to gain more "grass" space at the bottom for my stamp. Oh, what I did to make the bottom grass layer longer is to weld a square onto the bottom. I then had to cut out the shape to match the label once it was glued down. Whew! :)

I hope you enjoyed my little card! Be sure to join us this Friday for 2 new Scrappy Moms Stamps releases and on Saturday for a blog hop! :)
