Scrabble Tile Necklace!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday!  :)  Today I have a little project I did for Teacher Appreciation Week...

My daughter's teacher loves Golden Retrievers so I found this cute puppy picture and made her a Scrabble tile necklace. Her favorite color is blue so we chose to use a blue ribbon rather than a chain necklace.  :)

I printed the picture at 11/16" (.6875") wide by 12.5/16" (.78125") and used the brand new SMS Alphabet Soup Die to cut it.

I then glued the silver bail on the back of the wooden Scrabble tile with E6000 but you should be able to use any STRONG glue like Gorilla Glue, etc.  Scrappy Moms Stamps has kits that  will make 5 Scrabble tile necklaces!

I cut a top note shape from Lacy Labels to make the bag topper and the apple is from Doodle Charms.  I doodled with my white gel pen and stamped a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps School Days stamp set.

I hope you like my quick little project - it was lots of fun to make.  Thank you for stopping by!

Introducing Picture Perfect and Alphabet Soup!

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be introducing Scrappy Moms Stamps May releases. :)

Today I have a projected that uses 3 new products - Picture Perfect Stamp Set, Alphabet Soup Stamp Set, and the Alphabet Soup Die!

I used Picture Perfect for the sentiment on the tag on top of the large picture.  The orange squares were cut using the Alphabet Soup Die and stamped with the Alphabet Soup Stamp Set.  I also used Cursive 101 for "the" and "Hamster" in the title.

Here are pictures of all the products for this release...

Please join me and the rest of the Scrappy Moms Stamps Design Team, including our May Guest Designer - Carri from DoubleClick - AKA Abusybee - all week for new projects using these new products! :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Summer Vaction

Hello everyone!! Thank you for stopping by to see my TTC project for this week. Our theme is Summer Vacation...

I decided that summer reminded me of beautiful flowers in bloom so my card also includes 2 flower seed packets. The are an embellishment and little gift! :)

I cut the pocket on MTC and the butterfly is from Everyday Paper Dolls. I duplicated the butterfly and hide the interior lines to get the solid white base. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Sun Kissed set - one of my favorites, by the way. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today - be sure to take a peek and see what the other members of the SMS Design Team created and come play along.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Forever Young

Hello, hello! Thank you for stopping by to take a peek at my Forever Young Terrific Tuesday Challenge project!

This is the front and here is the back...

That's right - it's a gift card holder! :)

I welded a rectangle to the bottom of the gift box base cut on my Gypsy so that I could fold it up in the back and glue down the sides to create a pocket for the gift card. I really LOVE how it turned out - easy but cute!

I used a little doodling and a gem stone to bling it up a little. The sentiment is one of my favorites from our new SMS Girls Just Want to Have Fun set.

Thank you for stopping by - I hope you will join us for this challenge and link up your project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice!

PS - I know my little gnome doesn't really have anything to do with Forever Young but I just really love him! LOL I got him at Joanns and tried to justify buying him - he can hold up my cards, right?! :)
