Terrific Tuesday Challenge - All You Need is Love!

Thank you for stopping by to see my TTC project for this week!

I wanted to cut this little cutie but I ran of time - its project time at school for my kids and they ALWAYS take twice as long as you think!  Anyway, I decided to print her and cut her little pink glasses.  She is from Lettering Delights Knit Wits In School file.  I added some homemade acrylic dots and a stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps Smitten set.   Here is the full Smitten set ...

I hope that you enjoyed my project and that you will come join us and link up your "Love" project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice!  :)

Introducing - Smitten and food for Thought

Hi, everyone!  Thank you for stopping by to see my first project for the February Scrappy Moms Stamps release week.  :)

I have been wanting to try stamping on vellum and I thought this stamp from our new Smitten stamp set was a perfect chance.  It's a simple card but I think it turned out cute!  I cut 2 hearts and embossed on with a chevron design and one with swirls - it's hard to see the embossing under the vellum but it's there - I promise.  Then I stamped the vellum overlay and inked the edge of the vellum with a little red ink.  To adhere it down I used mini glue dots and covered them with gems.

Here is the full Smitten set, as well as the second set we are releasing this month - Food for Thought...

All of the fabulous Scrappy Moms Stamps DT, including our February Guest Designer - Debbie at DD Crafts, will have new projects all week using these 2 new sets.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Miss Kate Cuttables DT Day!

Thank you for stopping by today  - I have a cute card to show you.  But, first - don't forget to stop by Miss Kate Cuttables for the Freebie of the day!

Here is my project for today ...

I used MKC cute Love Robot file  - I printed him and freehand cut him since I couldn't get the print and cut to work right.   Next I popped him up on a background made from washi tape.  I added 2 homemade acrylic dots and a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps You are my Everything 2 stamp set...

I hope you enjoyed my card for today - please come back and visit! :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - We Belong Together!

This week our Terrific Tuesday Challenge with Scrappy Moms Stamps is "We Belong Together".  For my things that go together I thought a little outside the box...

I thought of tea and this cute little pot/cup.  :)  This is the Pouring Tea Pot file from Miss Kate Cuttables. It would be so cute to cut but I have been feeling under the weather so I decided to print it instead.  I added some Stickles on the splash and 3 gems along the top for a little bling.  The sentiments are from Scrappy Moms Stamps Freshly Brewed stamp set.

I hope that you will come play along with us and link up your project that includes things that belong together!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Think Warm!

Hello and thank you for joining me for my project for this weeks TTC with Scrappy Moms Stamps!  This week the theme is Think Warm - here is my "warm" card...

For this project I used Miss Kate Cuttables cute little Bear in Pool file.  I didn't feel like cutting and gluing the whole file so I did a print and then just cut the bear and put him on top.  This is the best of both worlds, IMO - speed and you still get the raised texture of the bear.  :)

I added a polk-a-dot wire ribbon and a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Beach Bums stamp set to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my card and that you will come play along with us at Scrappy Moms Stamps.
