New card! :)

Sorry I have been MIA for a while! School started this week and it's been crazy! :)

I made this QUICK card to show you today....


I used the Moroccan Screeen and Distressed lines Cuttlebug folders for the embossing. The yellow tag is from Song Bird, modified on the DS. The cute flower is a design I found on a wonderful blog called My Favorite Things by Dawn McVey. She is such a creative crafter, here is the LINK to the tutorial on how to make this flower. I also used a Die Cut lace tag by Martha Stewart Crafts under the flower. I thought about inking the tag but decided to just leave it white for more contrast. :)

Oh, the sentiment is the 1st sneak peek of one of our new stamp set by Scrappy Moms Stamps! The Design Team will have more projects to show you next week, so stay tuned. :)

Sneak Peek - For the Boys Stamp Set

Good day, everyone! Today I have a card made with one of our soon to be released stamp sets called, "For the Boys"!


This was such a fast and easy card - yay! The red background is embossed with the Destressed Stripes folder by cuttlebug. The border punch is Fiskar's Upper Crest and I just used a thin strip of white paper instead of a ribbon. The cards were from an old deck that I confiscated. (shhh, don't tell)

The design team will be make more projects this week and next to show you. :) For today you can also visit Momo and Joanna for a few more creations. :)

Oh, and I have a poll for all you... We are trying to decide whether or not to upload the link to purchase the Halloween stamps and For the Boys now (a pre-order senario) or wait until we have a shipment of stamps in hand. Let us know what you would like us to do.

Sweethearts Card and a Blog Hop Alert!

Today I wanted to share this card I made for my Anniversary (shhhhh - don't tell my husband it's posted here).

I noticed that I tend to use a similar layout on my cards - it's time to break out of the mold! Ok, so moving the stamp to the top isn't drastic but hey, baby steps, right? :)

The couple is from Sweethearts and cut at 3.25", the hearts are also from Sweetheart done on the DS - cut at approximatly .75" and .5". I used the Distressed Stripes embossing folder from Cuttlebug and the sentiment is from our Scrappy Moms Sweet Somethings stamp set.

New Scrappy Moms Stamp Set .... Sneak Peek! :)

Hello, hello! I am so excited about todays post!! We are going to be releasing a new stamp set soon and I'm going to give you a sneak peek. Here is a card I made with one of the saying....


Enlarge the picture for more detail! The shoes are from Forever Young cut at 2.75" and diamond glazed. I used the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background and the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby (in the wedding dept - they have it in lots of colors!).

I'm not even going to share the name of the new set yet....keep watching for more sneak peaks this week here and on Tammy's blog - Scrappy Critters!
