Terrific Tuesday Challenge - All That Glitters!

Hi, everyone!  I hope that your day is going great! :)

For this weeks TTC the challenge is to use bling on your project - here is my card...

I never seem to have enough kids b-day cards in my stash so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to make a little girl card.

My Frog Princess is from MKC - isn't she cute?  I decided to mimic the shape of the grass for my card.  I welded a short rectangle to the bottom so that there was enough room to stamp  "Happy Birthday".  I used Make the Cut to weld a half-circle and long rectangle for the base of my card and made an "interior" shadow for the yellow layer.  Of course, I had to give my little princess some bling so I used yellow Stickles and pink gems on her crown and added a couple of green gems on the grass layer just for fun.

"Happy Birthday" is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Mini Messages set and "Princess {in training}" is from SMS Happily Ever After set.  A striped pink ribbon from Michael's finishes off the card.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Sweet Treats!

Good day everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend - I did, I was in Disneyland!! :) Now I have "A Pirate's Life for Me" stuck in my head! LOL

This weeks TTC cart is Sweet Treats. I decided to us one of the more unusual cuts on this cart...


LOL - A Firecracker? On Sweet Treats? Yep! :)

The base of the card is the stamp cut from Sentimental - I welded 2 together. I used the Dots and Spots embossing folder by Cuttlebug, red Stickles, and some tiny gems to give it some pizzazz. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Happily Ever After set. I hope you like my project for this week.

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all the mother's out there are having a WONDERFUL Mother's Day! :)

I have a quick card for you today...


The rainbow is a woodsie from Joanns, the edge border is the Martha Stewart Ribbon Loop punch. Three light pink pearls, a pink ribbon and a stamp from our new Scappy Moms Stamps Happily Every After stamp set round out the front design.


I used a sentiment from SMS All in the Family for the inside.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Happily Ever After Blog Hop

I was inspired by the recent royal wedding, wasn't it beautiful?! I hope that my card envokes a memory of that day...


The base of the card is a free SVG file from imagesbyheatherm - I used MTC to weld 2 ovals together. The carriage is from the Royal Wedding SVG set by Lettering Delights. I used my Fiskars cloud punch and then the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder. The twine is from Scrappy Moms Stamps as is the sentiment. :)
