Miss Kate Cuttables DT Day and Scrappy Moms Stamps Sneak Peek #3

Hi, everyone!  Thank you for stopping by for my Miss Kate Cuttables DT day - before I share my project I want to remind you stop by and get your Freebie of the Day.

For my card today I couldn't wait to use this cute little apple pie cut file...

How cute is that?!  I thought it would be a good idea to use Stickles to make the heat waves, not exactly how I thought it would turn out but such is crafting!  I used a gingham ribbon for a country feel and added a sentiment from our brand new What Can I Say? stamp set.  Here is the full set...

Our Scrappy Moms Stamps DT, including out August Guest Designer - Sukie from Scrappin' Dhilly, will have new projects this week using our 2 new stamp sets.

I hope you enjoyed my little card for today!  Thank you for visiting!

Introducing 2 New Scrappy Moms Stamps Sets! :)

Hello!  Thank you for visiting me on Day 1 of Scrappy Moms Stamps August Release Week!  My 1st project uses the Filled with Love stamp set...

I made some bath salts (Epson Salt, Orange Dreamsicle soap scent, and food coloring) and put into a cafe sugar dispenser.  I found my dispenser at Dollar Tree and thought it would be easy to pour into the tub. :)

I stamped the shape and one of the sentiments from Filled with Love on a white 2.5" circle then backed it with a light orange circle.  I wrote in the "Orange Dreamsicle Bath Salts" so please ignore the poor penmanship!  LOL  Lastly, I added orange sheer striped ribbon.

Here is the full Filled with Love stamp set...

Here is the 2nd set we are releasing this month - What Can I Say?...

Our wonderful Scrappy Moms Stamps DT, including our August Guest Designer - Sukie from Scrappin Dhilly, will have new projects all week using these two sets.  They are in stock and ready to ship!  :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Food Fun!

Hi, everyone!  Thank you for visiting my project for this weeks TTC with Scrappy Moms Stamps.

My project is a quick and easy treat. I started working at my kids school this month and was just becoming used to it when they almost doubled my hours!  LOL  So, I need to make a fun, easy project this time around.

I used 2 patterned papers to create my wrapper, a crinkle ribbon bow and at tag.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Candy Grams set and I used a Fiskars border punch on the bottom of the tag.

I hope you will come join us for a change to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice.

Just a Note - Miss Kate Cuttable DT Day!

Hello all!  Thank you for joining me today for my Miss Kate Cuttables project.  Before I share I wanted to remind you to go and grab your Freebie of the Day!

For this week's project I decided to make a little back to school craft...

I made a little easel post-it note holder - I just started working at my younger kids school and wanted to make something for the teacher I am working with.  I think it turned out so cute that I think I will make them for the kids classroom teachers too.  I used MKC Worm in Apple, 2 patterned papers and one solid paper, 2 small gems and a stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps The Charmed Life stamp set. The face is from PKS Sweet on You face set.

To make the holder you need following papers

1 - 3 1/8" x 9 1/2" - scored at 3 1/2", 7", 8", and 9". (The green easel base in my project.)
2 - 4 1/8" x 6 1/4" - Scored along the long side at 1/2" from both sides.  Rotate 90 degrees and score at
2 1/4", 2 3/4" and 5"(only to the long score lines - this gives you the open part at the top where the               notepad sits). - (The lined paper in my project.)
3 - 3 1/8" x 3 1/2" (The green polka dot paper in my project)

Fold the 3 thin folds on the easel as show above and glue the last, thin strip to to form the easel.  Cut the 2 small squares one on each side of the bottom, which is the thin section.   Also, cut off the sides that you only partially scored  for the top. Fold and adhere to form the box for your post it not pad.  Glue in the rectangle  (the green polka dot paper in my project) to the inside of the box. Finally, glue your box to the easel - done!

If that totally confused you - hopefully, it didn't - here is a good video - http://www.todoconpapel.com/latina-crafter-blog-hop-tercer-aniversario-video-tutorial/.  It's in Spanish but you can see where she cuts and folds to go along with the measurements above.  :)

I hope you enjoyed my project for today!  Have a wonderful one!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Back to School!

Hi, everyone!  Can you believe that it's back to school time already (at least around here it is!)?  :)

This week's TTC is a school theme and here is my project -

I made these for the kiddos teachers - just a quick little treat.  I got the clear light bulbs at Hobby Lobby and filled them with M&Ms.  I used crinkle ribbon and a tag with a sentiment from our Terrific Teachers stamp set to finish of the project.  I have done these in the past and everyone loved them - quick, easy and well received... a perfect project, in my opinion!  :)

I hope you will come play along with us and link up your Back to School project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamp set of your choice!
