Hello all! Thank you for joining me today for my Miss Kate Cuttables project. Before I share I wanted to remind you to go and grab your
Freebie of the Day!
For this week's project I decided to make a little back to school craft...
I made a little easel post-it note holder - I just started working at my younger kids school and wanted to make something for the teacher I am working with. I think it turned out so cute that I think I will make them for the kids classroom teachers too. I used MKC
Worm in Apple, 2 patterned papers and one solid paper, 2 small gems and a stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps
The Charmed Life stamp set. The face is from PKS
Sweet on You face set.
To make the holder you need following papers
1 - 3 1/8" x 9 1/2" - scored at 3 1/2", 7", 8", and 9". (The green easel base in my project.)
2 - 4 1/8" x 6 1/4" - Scored along the long side at 1/2" from both sides. Rotate 90 degrees and score at
2 1/4", 2 3/4" and 5"(only to the long score lines - this gives you the open part at the top where the notepad sits). - (The lined paper in my project.)
3 - 3 1/8" x 3 1/2" (The green polka dot paper in my project)
Fold the 3 thin folds on the easel as show above and glue the last, thin strip to to form the easel. Cut the 2 small squares one on each side of the bottom, which is the thin section. Also, cut off the sides that you only partially scored for the top. Fold and adhere to form the box for your post it not pad. Glue in the rectangle (the green polka dot paper in my project) to the inside of the box. Finally, glue your box to the easel - done!
If that totally confused you - hopefully, it didn't - here is a good video -

I hope you enjoyed my project for today! Have a wonderful one!
