Miss Kate Cuttables Design Team Day - Smart Cookie!

Hello and Happy Wednesday.  :)

Remember to stop by and grab your Miss Kate Cuttables Freebie of the Day!

For this weeks project I made a quick teacher's gift...

I would like to tell you this is a made from scratch mix but I can't - I totally cheated!  LOL  I use the Betty Crocker Double Chocolate Chunk Mix and added a layer of Andes Mint Candy pieces.   Yummy!

Here is the back of the tag...

I use MKC Milk & Cookie file to make my darling little cookie - I removed the face cuts so I could use my PKS Sweet on You stamp for her face.  I cut a layered tag shape and used Fliskars Apron Lace border punch on the bottom.  I stamped the bottom of the inside layer with a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Teachers stamp set and embossed the top portion with Darice's chevron embossing folder.

I hope you enjoyed my project for today!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Release #2!

Happy Sunday! :)

For my project today I made a teacher appreciation gift...

I got a yellow mesh pencil cup from the dollar section at Target and covered it with crayons.   I printed off a cute tag that looks like a blackboard with the teacher name and then stamped the sentiment from our new Terrific Teachers stamp set with white embossing powder.  The tag is removable so the teacher can choose if they want to keep it on the pencil cup or not. Filled with pencils, mechanical pencils, pens and dry erase markers the gift is ready to go.   :)

Here is the full Terrific Teachers set - think of a the cute things you could make with it!

Thank you for visiting me today  - I will have more project for the Scrappy Moms Stamps March release  this week (as will all our DT members, including our March Guest Designer - Brianna from Happy Scrapper)!

Scrappy Moms Stamps March Release - Sneak Peek #1

Hello everyone!!  I hope you all are having a good Friday!

I have a project to share that showcases one of our 2 new stamp sets for March - For Peep's Sake...

I made a milk carton box by Lettering Delights and filled it with egg shaped Hershey's chocolate candies - Yum!

To decorate my box I used the cute Bunny in Egg file by Miss Kate's Cuttables - I just left off the grass and flowers and created a shadow layer for him in MTC (I also hid the face and used PKS Cute and Cuddly faces).  Next I made a banner and stamped it with "Any eggs-cuse for Chocolate!", added a green sheer bow and some little green gems.  Here is the full For Peep's Sake set and the 2nd set we are releasing this month, Terrific Teachers...

We are also adding Strong Magnetic Disks to the Scrappy Moms Stamps store - they are great for projects that need to stay closed such as my cute little Doggy Box and the Cow gift cardholder.  :)

I hope you enjoyed my project for today and will visit all of the SMS Design Team, including our March Guest Designer - Brianna from Happy Scrapper, all this week for new projects using For Peep's Sake and Terrific Teachers.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - All That Glitters!

Hi, everyone!  I hope that your day is going great! :)

For this weeks TTC the challenge is to use bling on your project - here is my card...

I never seem to have enough kids b-day cards in my stash so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to make a little girl card.

My Frog Princess is from MKC - isn't she cute?  I decided to mimic the shape of the grass for my card.  I welded a short rectangle to the bottom so that there was enough room to stamp  "Happy Birthday".  I used Make the Cut to weld a half-circle and long rectangle for the base of my card and made an "interior" shadow for the yellow layer.  Of course, I had to give my little princess some bling so I used yellow Stickles and pink gems on her crown and added a couple of green gems on the grass layer just for fun.

"Happy Birthday" is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Mini Messages set and "Princess {in training}" is from SMS Happily Ever After set.  A striped pink ribbon from Michael's finishes off the card.

I hope that you will join us this week and link up your project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice!

Miss Kate Cuttables DT Day - Have a Sea-riously Happy Birthday!

Hello and Happy Wednesday.  :)

Remember to stop by and grab your Miss Kate Cuttables Freebie of the Day!

My project today is a birthday card that I made for my niece - she is going to college this year to study Marine Biology...

I used MKC Cute Whale cut file for the whale, the waves are from the Hooked on You file - I used MTC to shape the bottom into a curve to fit onto a circle.  The base is from MKC Valentines backgrounds - I deleted the accent shape from each of the scallops so they are solid instead of looking like lace.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Sail Away stamp set.  I used a face stamp from my FAVORITE PK stamp set of all time - Sweet on You.

I hope you enjoyed my project for today!

Miss Kate Cuttables and Xyron Cross-Branding Hop & Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Green and Gold!

Hi everyone!  Thank you so much for joining me for my MKC and Xyron Cross-Branding hop! We are all so excited to be joining with Xyron to show you some new creations.

This project also serves as my Terrific Tuesday Challenge project for this week - I hope that you all like it!

I used MKC Bear in Pot of Gold file to make the decoration on a cute clear purse from the Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Castle Shoppe.  I added a stamp from Scrappy Moms Stamps Fun Celebrations stamp set and golden candies to complete my project. This weeks TTC is a color challenge - Green and Gold, so this project encompasses those colors. :)

Used the following Xyron products to make my project -

Be sure to stop by the Miss Kate Cuttables blog and the Xyron blog to see the projects created for this cross-branding hop!

We hope that you will also come join us for our Terrific Tuesday Challenge and link up your Green and Gold project too!
