It's My Party Blog Hop!!

Welcome, welcome!! I'm so glad that you joined us for Alex's It's My Party Hop! I was so honored and excited when she asked me to be a part of the hop - thanks, Alex! :)

You should be coming from fabulous Scrappin_3deeschik - thanks Meighen for another great project! If you have lost your way you can always return to the beginning at You Had Me at Craft.

My projects today are re-usable buffet labels. I use the rectangular "top-note" cut from Lacy Labels to make the base and 2 layers. I used my gypsy to size them so the blown layer is a thin frame around the center section. The base layer is 3"x 2.41", brown layer is 2.66" x 2.14" and the center is 2.55" x 2.05". I inked both of the cream layers.

Next I used a Purple Cow laminator on all of the cards - I cut them out, leaving a thin border of the laminate. I love that little machine!

I wanted to show you a few options on how you could use them. The top 2 pictures show clear address labels and the bottom 2 are dry erase markers. Since the cards are laminated you can remove the labels or erase the marker and use them over and over.

I found the gold ornament photo/place card holders at Michael's after Christmas for $1.65 (6 of them) - what a steal. They are a little on the formal side so I went hunting for something for colorful and fun... then I found these little cuties! The Matryoska dolls (or Russian nesting dolls) are from Cost Plus World Market - I am giving away a set of them away as my blog candy! Just leave me a comment and a way to get a hold of you if you win. :)

Thank you for visiting me today - I hope that you are learning lots of new ways to use paper crafting for your next party! The next stop on the hop is the wonderful Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n.

Festive {{{ HUGS }}}!

Great idea to laminate them so you can use them over and over. My only problem with these blog hops is that I find so many things that I just have to get, (a gypsy, a laminator)! ;-). Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy!
