Happy Sunday! :)
Today my project is one that I have been wanting to try for a long time. I saw these and wanted to make them for my girls. In fact, I was hoping to get them done of Easter but no dice! LOL
I am pretty new to sewing and this was the 1st time I have ever sewn a zipper. It wasn't that hard except tucking the 2nd end of the zipper in - I had to pull the teeth apart and it looks a bit funky. It works but it's not as neat as I would like. I guess I'll just have to practice. :)
I used a Fiskars "Top Note" punch and cut it in half to make the tags that are tied to the zippers. They are just there as gift tags - not meant to be permanent. I used a sentiment from our new Scrappy Moms Stamps Girls Just Want to Have Fun stamp set - I thought it worked perfect for my little coin purses. :)
Be sure to visit the rest of the SMS Design Team - including out Guest Designer, Marlene from Scappin' Cookie - to see more projects made with Girls Just Want to Have Fun and the other new release, Little Critters.
Have a wonderful day! {{{ HUGS }}}

Two Brand-New Scrappy Moms Stamps sets - Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Little Critters
Hello, hello everyone! Today a have a project to show you that is created with one of the 2 new Scrappy Moms Stamp sets -
I used the lion cut from SVG Cuts Cuddly Animals set - isn't he adorable?!? The scalloped circle was made with a Fiskars punch. The circle is tied to the handle of the Animal Cracker box - I envision these as favors for a circus themed birthday party. I used a sentiment from Little Critters - here is the full set ...
The 2nd set we are releasing today is Girls Just Want to Have Fun...
Our WONDERFUL DT - including our April Guest Designer, Marlene from Scrappin' Cookie - will have new projects using both of these sets all this week. Be sure to visit them to see their fabulous creations! :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Anything on a Stick!
Hi, everyone! Thank you for visiting today for this weeks Terrific Tuedsay Challenge - Anything on a stick.
I decided to use a cut from Nifty Fifties...
I didn't use the actual base that goes with the icream float but one of the other geometric shapes. I also didn't cut out the straw and used an actual paper straw. The straw and the stamp(Quirky Quotes set) are both from Scrappy Moms Stamps.
I cut two layers of the cup and used pop dots to separate them so there was room for the straw to fit in the middle. I squished one end of the straw and then cut up both sides so that it would lay flat. The cherry has red Stickles on it for a little bling. I think I could have made the cup a little bigger - but it's done! LOL
I hope you enjoyed my project today, be sure to visit the other DT members to see their great projects!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Easter :)
Can you believe it's almost Easter?
For my TTC project today I decided to try to stamp on fabric. I did a little research and it said that pigment inks will work on fabric, you just need to heat set them. So on I went...
I made these little bunny shaped sacks, the pattern can be found HERE. I left the top open so I could add jelly beans as a treat. The ribbon closes the opening and make the cute shape. Each one of my kids has their one bunny, for my youngest I even used a shirt he recently outgrew. :)
I used VersaFine pigment ink and it worked great - no smearing, no smudging. I didn't wash then after so I'm not sure how it would hold up. If anyone has stamped on fabric before I would love to hear what happened after you wash your project.
The stamp I used is one of my favorites from Scrappy Moms Stamps - The Charmed Life. I hope you like my Easter project today - be sure to check out the other DT projects, they're GREAT! :D
