I put together a Farewell kit...
I included 2 fun magazines to read on the plane or road, a yummy candle for the new house, a Pizza gift card (Who feels like cooking right after moving?) and a pair of "Lucky Elephants". According to Fung Shui elephants bring luck into your home - these elephants have their trunks up to help keep in the luck. A pair of elephants near the front door also represent protection. So put these cute little guys by your front entrance to help protect your home and bring luck to those that live there. :)
Here is a close up of the stone elephants and the inside of my card.... (sorry for the poor focus!)
I used my Gypsy to weld a 4.23" x 1.5" rectangle to the right bottom side of the 8.5" x 5.5" base of my card. Then I folded it up and glued just the sides of the flap to make the pocket for my gift card. I also cut the 5 "Top Note" shapes at 1.75" x 1.75" in 5 different pattern papers. I used 2 stamps from our new Scrappy Moms Stamps From The Inside Out 2 set - one for the outside and one for the inside (see how that works? LOL). Here is a picture of the full set....
Thank you for visiting today! I have another project for you tomorrow. :)
