My FIRST Video! :)

Hello, everyone! I got a Bloggie camera for Christmas and am finally getting around to trying my hand with a video. I have a small tripod and a HUGE tripod but I think that I need to see if I can one right in the middle. LOL This one is a little too close to get a nice focus but I couldn't figure out how to set up the big one so that it wasn't too far away to get good focus on small details! ARRGGHH!

I have a new mission now.... find the perfect tripod.... find the perfect tripod! But in the meantime here is a quick demo of the Fiskar's Ink that I mentioned here. Let me know what you think, and if anyone has any words of advice about making video I'd LOVE to hear it!

*** The music you hear is from the Playlist at the bottom of my blog page. You can scroll down and click off the sound or pause the song if you just want to hear the video. ***

Thanks for waching! {{{ HUGS }}}

Great Video...when you say you use your heat gun on the Fiskars, do you use embossing powder too? Or just blow the heat on it like it is?

Scrappy Mel said...

I just blow heat on the ink to dry it quicker - no embossing powder necessary. :)

Great little first video. There is a big difference in pigment and dye based inks for sure. Pigment inks work so much better on colored cardstock!

Mel. You should seriously try Papertrey ink Hybrid ink. that's what I use and it's the darkest black (it's dark like pigement but dries fast like dye based)

also i have had great success using the TIm holtz black soot distress ink for inking sentiments. that's a very BLACK ink as well. never had issues with the color fading and that is a dye based ink as well

Liked your video
