Introducing Scrappy Moms Stamps new set - SUN KISSED

Happy Friday! Are you going to be out and about enjoying the soon-to-be summer weather this weekend? I know I am - before it hits 100 degrees here is sunny Arizona! :)

In honor of the change of seasons and the school year ending I decided to use our new Sun Kissed stamp set by Scrappy Moms Stamps to make baskets for my kiddos. Here is the one for my almost 3 yr old son and my oldest daughter. (I haven't gotten a book for my Kindergartener yet - bad mommy! LOL)

I cut the sun from the Banner Days SVG file by Lettering Delights but the sun from Doodle charms was my original idea. I used yellow Stickles in the "reflection" on the sun, just for a little sparkle. The sandcastle buckets w/shovels are from Target, as is the beach towel and sunscreen. For my little guy I added a blow-up beach ball, some new sunglasses and new SpongeBob swim trucks. For my daughter I added an inexpesive MP3 player and the final book of the Percy Jackson Serice by Rick Riodan (great books, if you haven't read them yet!).

I thought this would be a fun little way to celebrate the end of the school year and welcome in Summer! :)

Here is the full Sun Kissed set -

Hope you enjoyed my 1st Sun Kissed project! Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT to see their WONDERFUL creations. :)

What a sweet idea Mel. I am sure your kids are going to love these goodies and the thought you put into making them.

I am excited about this stamp set...I already had to go and order it, I had too many card designs flashing through my mind not to get them immediately LOL.

Thanks for all the time and effort you guys put into creating these stamps for all of us :)

Oh how cute! If we lived near the beach, this would be awesome for Lilly! We're about six hours from the nearest ocean... :(

I wanted you to know that I ordered my first sets (3) of your stamps today and I'm so excited about getting them. Thanks for having such great sets. I still want your newest princess set. But I didn't want my husband to go into shock if I bought to many at once. LOL
