Terrific Tuedsay Challenge - Rock Princess

Happy Tuesday! This weeks TTC is Rock Princess, which was a little hard for me... I don't own it! Thank goodness for friends that are willing to share - Tammy lent me her cartrige so I could play. :D

I thought this little singer was so sweet! It's hard to tell but her little star is embossed with the Large Dots embossing folder by Sizzix with a little Stickles for some bling. I also added a little Stickles to her lips - the face is a PKS Princess face (so cute!). I use the Fiskars Upper Crest border punch for the dark pink paper - it's one of my favorites and goes with so much!

Both sentiment stamps are from Scrappy Moms Stamps Crazy for You! set. :)

I hope you enjoyed my project today and that you will come and play along with us!

Valentine's Rosette Wreath - Love you, Always

Happy Friday! I don't know about you, but I sure am glad that it's the weekend! LOL :)

My project today is one that I started at my MOM's group at chruch - it took forever to make all the rosettes. And I only did about half of what most people were doing! The project was supposed to be a square wreath but I was to lazy to cut the chipboard so I just went to Joanns and bought a foam wreath.

The flowers are made from paper streamer, about 24" for each flower - twisted and wrapped in a circle. I covered my wreath with the streamer too - since I didn't want to cover the whole thing in rosettes.

I decided to make 2 of the flowers red and add a dangling heart in the center. I cut the heart at about 3" from Lacy Labels out of glitter paper (it's actually a true red but the flash makes it look pink). It is suspended with clear thread wrapped between the top 2 flowers and taped in the back. I also hung the wreath on my daughters' door with clear thread. :)

I used a sentiment from SMS Crazy for You set and the corresponding SVG base.

Oh, I also wanted to let you all know that we are now selling Action Wobbles! I just LOVE them, don't you!?

Thanks for stopping by!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Valentine's Hop

Thank you so much for joining us!! We hope that you will get some good ideas for Valentine's Day and have some fun along the way.

For my project today I picked up a fillable heart box and Starburst candy from Target to decorate. I filled the heart with gumballs, cut 2 hearts from Lacy Labels, added a little bling and tied a bow. For the sentiment I used Crazy for You and the base from our new SVG file. The SVG file lets you cut a shape that matched the stamp perfectly. You can download the file HERE. :)

I also decided to use "I Chews You" on the Starburst - same stamp, 2 different kinds of chews! LOL I masked my stamp to make it fit into the circle. I used my newly beloved Fiskar's scalloped circle punch, circle punch and 2 small hearts. A little bow finishes off the project. :)

We will also be giving away a brand new SMS Crazy for You Stamp set.

Just leave a comment here and at all the stops along the way. Each Design Team member will pull a name from their comments and then we will pool them to pick the winner - this means 13 chancess to win. :)

Here is the blog list so you don't get lost along the way...

Your next stamp is the very sweet and hugely talented Tammy!

It's that time - SMS release week! This month's release is a brand new Valentine's Day set, Crazy for You...

For today's project I made a card using Lettering Delights Stuck on You SVG files.

The base of the card is from Twinkle Toes and the faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps. I also used our stamp base SVG file for the shape I stamped the sentiments on - we are offering this SVG file for free, download it HERE. :)

The Crazy for You set is in stock and ready to ship, just in time to start your Valentine's projects.

Join us tomorrow for a Valentine's Hop, our DT and Guest Designer - Star from Star's Paper Passion - will have new projects to share. Plus we are giving away a Crazy for You stamp set! :)

Have a great Friday!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Cartoon Characters

Hi, Everyone! I hope your week is starting off great!

For my TTC project I decided to do a scrapbook page - I am SOOOO far behind in my pages! My son recently moved from his crib to a "big boy bed"...

I used the Cars cartridge to make the "World of Cars" emblem. I really wanted to try to fix another Lighting McQueen cut somewhere on the page but I just couldn't figure out how. This layout really gave me headaches! LOL The paper, which I bought months ago for the page, was so busy that I had a hard time deciding where to put the photos and how big they should be. I lay everthing out on Photoshop that way I can size my photos before I print them and I spend almost as much time on the computer as at my crafting table! But... IT'S DONE! I can check on page of my ever growing list.

In fact, that would be a great resolution for 2012 - get caught up (and STAY caught up) on all my scrapbook pages! There, I did it and you all are witnesses - I made a New Year's resolution... let's see how I do! LOL

I hope you enjoyed my Terrific Tuesday Challenge project (please come and play along) and I hope you all have a FABULOUS week!
