Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Spring is in Bloom

Thank you for stopping by to visit!  Today I have my project for this weeks TTC w/Scrappy Moms Stamps to share with you...



The challenge this week is to make a project that includes a flower.  I decided to make my flower on the "Stylized" side!  I got a couple of brand new toy this week - a Fiskars Medium Octagon punch and several new 6 x 6 paper pads by Echo Park.  The pad I used for this card is called So Happy Together.  I added a ribbon/bow in a pink stiched ribbon from Michaels and a sentiment from SMS Quirky Quotes.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Hit the Beach!

Hi, everyone!  Thanks for stopping by to see my Terrific Tuesday Challenge for this week...

What is it? You might ask... it's not a card, it's not a scrapbook layout, it's not a box!?!?  Here, let's see if this helps...

I remembered seeing this somewhere on line a while ago and thought, I think I can re-create it from memory.  So here's what I did - I used one blue 4x6 piece of paper and one white 4x6 paper and used my scalloped edge punch on    one end of both. Then I lined them up together so the white piece stuck out just a bit and glued them together.  Then I folded down the scalloped side about 1 inch and folded the other side so it nesseled under the fold. 

Next, I punched a hole on each side thru all three pieces - the front, tucked side and the back of the fold.  When I was done with the embellishment from Pack Your Bags and embossing my sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Quirky Quotes set, I threaded twine thru the holes the yellow circle and tied a knot  That holds the whole project together - simply slip your roll of Lifesavers candy int the bend of the sleeve.

Birds and Birdcages Hop!

Welcome to the Birds and Birdcages Hop hosted by Sandra (365 Days of Cricut)! Wasn't Celeste's project fabulous!?

I went a little out of my norm for this project...


I found this adorable little birdcage SVG file and decided to give it a try. I lined the window with 2 layers of wax paper and put a battery powered tea light inside. The ribbon, flower and tag finish off the project. I used SMS Quirky Quotes and 3 small jewels for the tag. :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Pack Your Bags!

Sorry this is up so late!! LOL :)

I made a quick little card for my project today. And I do mean little... I forgot to set the size on my Gypsy when I made the base of the card so it cut at about 4" x 3.7" instead of 5.5" x 4.25". Oh, well - at least it still fits in an A2 envelope. :)


I used a little stickles on her drink and lips for just a touch of glam. The sentiment is from SMS Quirky Quotes set and the bakers twine is also from Scrappy Moms Stamps. Please come play along with us for this weeks Terrific Tuesday Challenge!

The mushroom is from Lettering Delights and I printed Gnomeo, Julie and the little bunny from the web on cardstock and cut them out. My kids just LOVE that movie! We must watch it 5-6 times a week - sometimes more than once in a day! LOL
