Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Under the Sea

Hi, everyone!  It's that time again  - this weeks challenge is to make a project that is related to the sea, ocean or other large bodies of water.

Here is my project -

My cute little fish is on a wobble (I have a short video below) - they are just so much fun! I used the Clown Fish file from Miss Kate Cuttables.  I printed the background paper and made the seaweed from an image online.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Sail Away stamp set and I added a few iridescent gems for bubbles.

Here is my fishy in action (please ignore my son in the background, in fact just turn the volume off - LOL) -

My project today is a birthday card that I made for my niece - she is going to college this year to study Marine Biology...

I used MKC Cute Whale cut file for the whale, the waves are from the Hooked on You file - I used MTC to shape the bottom into a curve to fit onto a circle.  The base is from MKC Valentines backgrounds - I deleted the accent shape from each of the scallops so they are solid instead of looking like lace.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Sail Away stamp set.  I used a face stamp from my FAVORITE PK stamp set of all time - Sweet on You.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Things that Go!

Hello, everyone!  I hope your week is going well - it's been a strange one here!  We have had record high temps here in AZ. Most of the country is freezing and we had to break out the shorts!  But don't be jealous - think what that means for summer - yikes!!!

For this weeks TTC I decided to make a shape card since it's been a while...

I'm so happy with how it came out!  :)  The sailboat and waves are from Miss Kate's Cuttables Hooked On You file.  I used MTC to create the shadow and create the card base.  Then I used white embossing powder for the sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Sail Away stamp set...

Thank you for stopping by to see my 1st SMS sneak peek for February, here is my card for today...

I used two Miss Kate Cuttables files on this card - one for the base (Valentine Backgrounds)  and one for the worm (Cute Book Worm - I didn't cut his face or glasses so I could use a face stamp). I made the hook into an SVG file from clip art I found on the internet.   I used my brand new Peachy Keen Sweet On You faces for my worm - isn't he adorable!?  :)

The sentiment is from our new Sail Away set ...

 Here is the 2nd set we are releasing this month - Ready, Set, Go!
