April Fools Hop has been cancelled!

Just kidding! LOL Sorry I couldn't resist.... Welcome to Cristina's April Fools Hop, I'm sure you all enjoyed Lezyle's project - isn't she great? I have a quirkly little layout for you...

The sign is from Paper Doll Dress-up, the words are from Sesame Street Font and I used George and Basic Shapes to cut the pieces of the Eye Grow. I rounded the corners of the square with my corner rounder. The leaf base of the eyes and hair are hand cut, which turned out pretty good for someone who can't cut a straight line to save her life. LOL :)

Thank you for joining me today! Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Corri.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Sugar & Spice

Happy Tuesday! I am so excited to show you the project I made for this challenge! I love, love, love it!

That's right - is a gum holder! LOL I use Extra bubble gum in the 15 stick pack.

I made the box on my Gypsy with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and George and Basic Shapes - you can download the file here. Just a warning - I couldn't figure out how to make the "tick" marks to indicate where you fold so I had to use a box image and hide all the contours except the tick marks. So...it looks VERY UGLY but if you click on preview (the eye) you can see that it will cut just fine. LOL

Here is a picture (rough though it may be) so you can see how it gets folded. If you have any questions let me know. :)

The box is 10" x 6" so it will use most of a 12" x 12" paper. I recommend you use sturdy cardstock to help with the weight. I glued the twine on the inside of the box when I was putting it together so it comes out of the sides but doesn't show on the back of the box.

The little girls face is from Sugar & Spice (I just cut her head, not her body) and the "popping" bubble is a old punch from Emagination. I used PKS Happy Lashes for her face. I only stamped the eyes and nose - you can't really see the nose, but it's there. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps - Kids Incorporated set.

Thank you so much for taking a peek - I hope you can join us for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge! :)

Sensational Scenes Blog Hop!

Thank you so much for joining me for the Sensational Scenes blog hop hosted by the super sweet and oh, so crafty Christina from Card Creations and More by C! Christina is giving away a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice - you just need to leave a comment at each stop on the hop to be eligible. :)

You should be comming from Scrappy Critters - Didn't you just love Tammy's adorable card?!? :) For my project today I took a little "artistic license" with the concept of scene. I choose to feature a place not found on earth, but beyond the earth...

LOL - that's right my scene is in outerspace! :) The cute little alien and his space ship are both from Boys Will Be Boys. And he's on a wobble...
I created the planet in my gypsy with the circle and skinny oval from George and Basic Shapes. The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Stamps' A Haunting We Will Go Stamp set and the bakers twine is also from Scrappy Moms.
For blog candy I will be giving away a brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps Furry Friends stamp set. Just leave me a comment with a way to get a hold of you. :)
Your next stop on the hop is the WONDERFUL Sandra!
