Hello everyone! This week's TTC is challenging you to make a project that uses a closure... button, tie, Velcro, etc. For my project I used our Super Strong Magnetic Disks...
I made a little treat box for Teacher Appreciation. I created the silhouette on MTC, made a little heart with gems and stamped a sentiment from SMS Terrific Teachers set to finish the front of the box.
This SVG file is from My Time Made Easy - it's called Card Candy and combines a card and candy box. I added a heart to the cut so you could see the candy inside. Then I used patterned paper on the both sides and stamped a 2nd sentiment from SMS School Days set.
I hope that you enjoyed my project and that you will come join us and link up your project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice.

Scrabble Tile Necklace!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday! :) Today I have a little project I did for Teacher Appreciation Week...
My daughter's teacher loves Golden Retrievers so I found this cute puppy picture and made her a Scrabble tile necklace. Her favorite color is blue so we chose to use a blue ribbon rather than a chain necklace. :)
I printed the picture at 11/16" (.6875") wide by 12.5/16" (.78125") and used the brand new SMS Alphabet Soup Die to cut it.
I then glued the silver bail on the back of the wooden Scrabble tile with E6000 but you should be able to use any STRONG glue like Gorilla Glue, etc. Scrappy Moms Stamps has kits that will make 5 Scrabble tile necklaces!
I cut a top note shape from Lacy Labels to make the bag topper and the apple is from Doodle Charms. I doodled with my white gel pen and stamped a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps School Days stamp set.
I hope you like my quick little project - it was lots of fun to make. Thank you for stopping by!

Corner Bookmarks - So cute! :)
Happy Friday!!! Here's to hoping everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend!
My project for today is two corner book marks that I made for my oldest daughter and I to share. We both love to read and never seem to have enough bookmarks around. :)

And just look how adorble this little puppy is guarding your page for you!

I made the blackboard and apple SVG file with MTC and the ADORABLE puppy is from the Silhouette store. The sentiments are from our new Scrappy Moms Stamps School Days and Raining Cats and Dogs sets. I found the tutorial for the bookmarks online - you can see it HERE. :)
Thanks for taking the time to visit me today!
