Two new Scrappy Moms Stamps sets - Farm Fresh & Tiny Treasures!

Hello, everyone!  :)

I am so excited to share my 1st project for Scrappy Moms Stamps Jan release!

I created this gift card holder in MTC and used the darling little cow from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The file cuts the base and the overlays (the patterned paper on the front and the white layers inside).  I used Basic Grey's magnetic snaps to keep the card closed.  They are under the white layers on the inside so you can't see them.  Finally, I used a sentiment from our new Farm Fresh stamp set on the outside and a sentiment from Birthday Hugs for the inside.

Here is the full Farm Fresh set and the 2nd set being released this month, Tiny Treasures...

I hope you like my little gift card holder and that you will come back this week for more new projects using these two new sets.  Be sure to visit all the SMS Design Team for new projects, including the January Guest Designer - Missy from Quick Chick Designs!

SMS Sneak Peek #3 - Call me, Maybe?

Happy Friday!  Can you believe that Thanksgiving is less than a week away?!

Here is my final project for our Scrappy Moms Stamps November release...

I used Scrappy Moms Stamps Happy Mail stamp set to create the base of the card along with the cute little telephone from Nifty Fifties.   For the sentiment I used our new Just Sayin' stamp set and MFT Say What? die.

I added a small envelope - that I embossed with a Darice chevron embossing folder - to the back for a phone card.  I have a couple of nieces heading off to college soon and I thought that it would make a good little gift.

I hope you enjoyed my projects this month - I had fun making them!  :)

Have a wonderful week and a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Teriffic Tuesday Challenge - True Friendship

Hello, everyone!

Today's TTC is a friendship theme - what says friendship more than coffee and good conversation?

I found these cute little craft bags at Joann's and knew they would be a perfect gift card holder.  See the little blue poking up at the top - it's an Einstein Bros gift card.  :)

The cute little bow is made from the MFT Beautiful Bow Die - it makes a big  and little bow and they are bow adorable.  The coffee cups are from Love You a Latte and cute itty-bitty - the tiny face is the PKS Princess faces stamp.  I made the cream background paper using the "Coffee?" stamp from our Freshly Brewed stamp set and then white heat embossed "Let's dish the DIRT" from Flower Power.

I hope you liked my little gift card holder and that you will come link up your friendship themed project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice.  :)

Introducing 2 new SMS Stamps sets - Gone Buggy and Life's a Circus!

Thank you for stopping by to see my 1st project for our Scrappy Moms Stamps May release!

I used a stamp from Life's a Circus on this fun little giftcard holder.  I folded a piece of white cardstock to make a pocket and added the red stripes, then used a Fiskars border punch to create the scallops at the top of my "popcorn box".  A black ribbon and movie theater gift card finishes the project.  :)

We are so excited to introduce these 2 new sets...

Be sure to visit our Design Team, including our May Guest Designer - Julie from Ready, Set, Stamp!, all this week for new projects using Gone Buggy and Life's a Circus!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Retro Fun!

Happy Tuesday!  Here is my project for our retro Terrific Tuesday Challenge...

I made a gift card holder from an cassette case.  I cut the insert to size based on the original insert.  Next, I cut the cassette from the Silhouette store and stamped Happy Birthday.  The main sentiment is stamped on a shape from my very favorite Fiskars cloud punch.  "Happy Birthday" is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Mini Messages and "Totally Rad" is from Blast from the Past.

Here is what I put inside...

I added a pack of Juicy Fruit gum to go with the gift card - I think that this makes a fun little gift card holder.  In case you don't have any cassettes laying around, try Goodwill - I got mine there for 69 cents!  :)

I hope you will come play along with us at Scrappy Moms Stamps and show us your retro project!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Forever Young

Hello, hello! Thank you for stopping by to take a peek at my Forever Young Terrific Tuesday Challenge project!

This is the front and here is the back...

That's right - it's a gift card holder! :)

I welded a rectangle to the bottom of the gift box base cut on my Gypsy so that I could fold it up in the back and glue down the sides to create a pocket for the gift card. I really LOVE how it turned out - easy but cute!

I used a little doodling and a gem stone to bling it up a little. The sentiment is one of my favorites from our new SMS Girls Just Want to Have Fun set.

Thank you for stopping by - I hope you will join us for this challenge and link up your project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice!

PS - I know my little gnome doesn't really have anything to do with Forever Young but I just really love him! LOL I got him at Joanns and tried to justify buying him - he can hold up my cards, right?! :)
