Terrific Tuesday Challenge - From My Kitchen!

Happy Tuesday! I can't believe the day after tomorrow is Thanksgiving!!! 2011 has just flown by!

I decided to go "quirky' with my project for this weeks TTC. The Challenge is to use From My Kitchen and I decided to use the little cow...


I used a "flower" shape from Lacey Labels and the circle is from George and Basic shapes. The I just added the ribbon and sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Freshly Brewed set to finish of the card. It is a little smaller than I normally make (4.25"x 4.25" But I wanted the shape and cow to be the focal point and not have a lot of "white" space. :)

NSD Challenges #8 and #9

Here are two more completed challenges for My Pink Stamper's NSD Challenge!

Challenge #8 is to make a mono-chromatic project. I decided to make a gift card holder from one of the purses in Forever Young. I added Diamond Glaze to the shoes for a shine. The grey part in the back is actually a gift card w/the ribbon attached to the corner.



Challenge #9 is to use a shape - this card uses From My Kitchen for the jar and Just Because Cards for the pickles and quote.



I wasn't sure how either project would turn out but I really LOVE the purse giftcard holder and I think the pickle jar turned out cute, if a little simple! I made both cards in the DS so I don't have exact measurements but I can get close ones for your if anyone would like them. :)

Finally done! Whew!

So...I started this card on Friday with my SIL Michelle. I tried cutting tiny letters with my Cricut but couldn't make them look the way I wanted. So, after a 3 day break, I decided to do the quote on the computer with PhotoShop. I wasn't sure if I would like it but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Let me know what you think... :)

Oh, I left the inside blank - I figured it could be used for lots of purposes (birthday, thank you, thinking of you, etc)!

Here comes a new card!

My friend Tammy came over and we made this adorable card. We were thinking for a birthday but I think you could use it as a thank you card, too.



For those that are wondering I used several Cricut cartridges for this card...

The cake and word "Cake" are from - From My Kitchen
The words, "You take the" are from - Plantin Schoolbook
The frame behind the cake is from - Songbird
