Hi, everyone! I hope that your day is going great! :)
For this weeks TTC the challenge is to use bling on your project - here is my card...
I never seem to have enough kids b-day cards in my stash so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to make a little girl card.
My Frog Princess is from MKC - isn't she cute? I decided to mimic the shape of the grass for my card. I welded a short rectangle to the bottom so that there was enough room to stamp "Happy Birthday". I used Make the Cut to weld a half-circle and long rectangle for the base of my card and made an "interior" shadow for the yellow layer. Of course, I had to give my little princess some bling so I used yellow Stickles and pink gems on her crown and added a couple of green gems on the grass layer just for fun.
"Happy Birthday" is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Mini Messages set and "Princess {in training}" is from SMS Happily Ever After set. A striped pink ribbon from Michael's finishes off the card.
I hope that you will join us this week and link up your project for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Retro Fun!
Happy Tuesday! Here is my project for our retro Terrific Tuesday Challenge...
I made a gift card holder from an cassette case. I cut the insert to size based on the original insert. Next, I cut the cassette from the Silhouette store and stamped Happy Birthday. The main sentiment is stamped on a shape from my very favorite Fiskars cloud punch. "Happy Birthday" is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Mini Messages and "Totally Rad" is from Blast from the Past.
Here is what I put inside...
I added a pack of Juicy Fruit gum to go with the gift card - I think that this makes a fun little gift card holder. In case you don't have any cassettes laying around, try Goodwill - I got mine there for 69 cents! :)
I hope you will come play along with us at Scrappy Moms Stamps and show us your retro project!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Tag you're it!
Hello, hello! Thank you for joining me today for my TTC project...

Can you guess what it might be? :)

That's right - it's a lipstick/lip balm holder!
I used MTC to make the two pieces of this holder, add the ribbon in the middle like a sandwich and, Voila, a lip balm holder.
I used my Fiskars scallop circle and circle squeeze punches and our Scrappy Moms Stamps Dancing in Circles set for the medallion. I free handed a simple banner tag and attached with a decorative pin from Joanns (make those things are fragile, tried to be so careful when inserting in into the glue dot and it still bent!). The sentiment in from the SMS Mini Messages stamp set.
I hope that you will come play along with us and link up your "Tag - you're it" project!

Two new SMS Stamps Sets - Mini Messages & Owl Occasions!
Happy Friday! Today I am showing a project made with one of the two new Scrappy Moms Stamps sets released today...

I used the earring card SVG file from the Silhouette Store (I cut it twice and glued the two pieces together so it would be stronger) and "Just from you" is from our new Mini Messages stamp set. The double hearts are from our Love Notes stamp set. I made these for my oldest daughter for Valentine's Day - she just loves earrings. :)
Here is the full Mini Messages stamp set and the 2nd new release for February, Owl Occasions...

I hope you enjoyed my little project - be sure to visit the rest of the Scrappy Moms Stamps DT - including out guest designer for February, Jenni from My Lollipop Garden - for projects all this week from the two new stamp sets!
