Disneyland Spring Break Layout :)

Hello, everyone!

I wanted to share a layout I just recently completed...

I had LOTS of pictures so I created the "film strips" with allowed me to use 20 small photos along with the 6 main ones. The small photos are about 1.5 x 3 so their not too tiny.  :)

I used my MTC to create the "Visiting" with a shadow for the tile, the Mickey was designed on my Gypsy with Mickey Font.   I also cut the Mickey hat shapes from Mickey Font.

For the tags I used Lacy Labels and stamped them with the new Scrappy Moms Stamps Picture Perfect stamp set

I know the background paper isn't traditionally "Disney" but I wanted something other than just red and black and I found this cute green paper at Joanns and thought it would work.  Now I have 2 more to make for my other kiddos.  LOL

Thank you for stopping by today - I hope you enjoyed it!

Introducing Picture Perfect and Alphabet Soup!

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be introducing Scrappy Moms Stamps May releases. :)

Today I have a projected that uses 3 new products - Picture Perfect Stamp Set, Alphabet Soup Stamp Set, and the Alphabet Soup Die!

I used Picture Perfect for the sentiment on the tag on top of the large picture.  The orange squares were cut using the Alphabet Soup Die and stamped with the Alphabet Soup Stamp Set.  I also used Cursive 101 for "the" and "Hamster" in the title.

Here are pictures of all the products for this release...

Please join me and the rest of the Scrappy Moms Stamps Design Team, including our May Guest Designer - Carri from DoubleClick - AKA Abusybee - all week for new projects using these new products! :)

Sneak Peek #2

Happy Sunday, everyone! I'm sorry this post is going up late, the flu has hit my household with a vengence. :(

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you...

I used Scrappy Moms Stamps new Pinwheel Die to create my pinwheels, with one small modification. No brad - since I wanted the pinwheel to lay flat in my scrapbook page I just used adhesive to hold the arms of the pinwheel down instead of using a brad. :)

Please join all of the Scrappy Moms Stamps Design Team - including our March Guest Designer, Jen from Jen's Happy Place - for more new projects with both the Pinwheel Die and our brand new Spring Fair stamp set.

Have a great day!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Cartoon Characters

Hi, Everyone! I hope your week is starting off great!

For my TTC project I decided to do a scrapbook page - I am SOOOO far behind in my pages! My son recently moved from his crib to a "big boy bed"...

I used the Cars cartridge to make the "World of Cars" emblem. I really wanted to try to fix another Lighting McQueen cut somewhere on the page but I just couldn't figure out how. This layout really gave me headaches! LOL The paper, which I bought months ago for the page, was so busy that I had a hard time deciding where to put the photos and how big they should be. I lay everthing out on Photoshop that way I can size my photos before I print them and I spend almost as much time on the computer as at my crafting table! But... IT'S DONE! I can check on page of my ever growing list.

In fact, that would be a great resolution for 2012 - get caught up (and STAY caught up) on all my scrapbook pages! There, I did it and you all are witnesses - I made a New Year's resolution... let's see how I do! LOL

I hope you enjoyed my Terrific Tuesday Challenge project (please come and play along) and I hope you all have a FABULOUS week!

April Fools Hop has been cancelled!

Just kidding! LOL Sorry I couldn't resist.... Welcome to Cristina's April Fools Hop, I'm sure you all enjoyed Lezyle's project - isn't she great? I have a quirkly little layout for you...

The sign is from Paper Doll Dress-up, the words are from Sesame Street Font and I used George and Basic Shapes to cut the pieces of the Eye Grow. I rounded the corners of the square with my corner rounder. The leaf base of the eyes and hair are hand cut, which turned out pretty good for someone who can't cut a straight line to save her life. LOL :)

Thank you for joining me today! Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Corri.

Let's Celebrate Blog Hop!

HAPPY, HAPPY NEW YEARS!!! Welcome to 2011 - I hope everyone has a happy, healthy and CREATIVE year! :)

Thank you for joining me from Mary at Cardztv - isn't she fabulous!?
I was so excited when Joanna asked me to help celebrate her birthday month and blogaversary in the blog hop - THANKS JOANNA! :)

I have a layout to show you today. This is my oldest daughter's 9th birthday party...

All of the icons on the bottom are cut from Slumber Party, the "Top Note" is cut from Gypsy Wanderings, and the title is cut from Cursive 101 and welded on my Gypsy. I used a heart and butterfly icon stamp and Versamark ink to make watermark images on the left and right top sections of the layout - if you look hard you can see them. I'm not sure I like them - I pictured it differently but it's done! LOL (Please excuse the bad pictures - I was trying to finish this post while we have family visiting and didn't have time to do a lot of prep work.)
For blog candy today I am giving away your choice of Scrappy Moms Stamps sets. Just leave me a comment and a way to get a hold of you if you win. Also - I'd love to hear if you have a favorite New Years Eve memory. :)

FINALLY - Some Halloween Pages! LOL

Happy Thursday, everyone!

I am finally getting to post these Halloween layouts I did for my kiddos! I am a "lazy" scrapper, when I have to do holiday layouts I find a design that will work for all three kids and duplicate it. I customize the colors, title, etc so each one is just different enough to be individual. At least I hope! LOL

I used the Scrappy Moms A Haunting We Will Go stamp set to make the little tags on the photos.
I hope you all enjoyed my "Kooky not Spooky" pages! Be sure to check back this Sunday when the Scrappy Moms Design Team will be intruducing a new Scrappy Moms Stamp set! :)
Have a wonderful day!

Peachy Keen Oct Challenge!

This is my entry into the Peachy Keen Stamps October Challenge.

I used Paper Doll Dress up for all the cuts on this page except the clouds, which I hand cut. I used the Everyday Character Assortment stamp set for Dorothy's face. It's hard to see but the word "shoes" and Dorothy's ruby slippers have been stickled (click to enlarge - you can see it a little better, LOL)

Hope you enjoyed it!

Birthday Party Layout!

Pardon the blurry picture, I couldn't seem to get a good one. :) I just finished this layout for my 2 year old son. It's pretty simple but done! The title was done in the DS with Sesame St Font and Cursive 101. I also used the Fiskars Scallop Sentiment border punch and the EK Success Round Binder border punch. The journaling is done on a transparency and stapled on - this is the 1st time I've used staples and I'm not sure how I feel about them. I think that I would use small staples next time, if possible. I've blocked out the info on the photo above but I made the invites on my computer and reduce the size so I could fit one on the page.

Thanks for looking - I hope to have more projects to show you this week. :)
