There's nothing like NEW STAMPS! :)

Tammy and I got these adorable car stamps (and die) from Paper Trey Ink - the set is called "Enjoy the Ride". It comes with tons of TINY word stamps that fit into the licence plate. Soooo cute - check it out! :)

We stamped the outline on white paper, then used the solid stamp to put color on the bumper and side mirrors. Then we stamped the outline again on patterned paper, cut it out and glued it on the white copy.

On the Father's day card I printed "#1 DAD" on my computer in Ariel at 9 pt. I used Diamond glaze on the window of this card but decided to skip it on the others as I didn't think it made much of a difference.

On the card in the 2nd picture I used clear embossing powder and Versamark Ink for the background pattern (this is also from a Paper Trey Ink stamp set, it's called Background Basics - Tin Type) since I didn't have a good light yellow stamp pad. Boy do I need some new ink pads! LOL

Thanks for visiting!

Card for Bekah :)

A friend of ours has a little girl with Severe Aplastic Anemia. She is now six years old and had a bone marrow transplant in October. She is fighting a hard battle right now and is back in the hospital on continuous dialysis. Poor thing! I made this card to send to her - they have been hanging cards in her room to try to help cheer her up. I wanted the card to be as bright and cheery as possible, I hope she likes it! :)

The stamps are from Paper Tray Ink - Every Day Button Bits.

Caterpiller Greetings

Isn't he cute! My friend Tammy and I bought a pack of paper to split and it had this cute garden-theamed paper that I knew would be just perfect for the little caterpiller from the Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge. I also love this sentiment from Paper Trey Ink. :)

Sweet Sunday Challenge #57

This is my 1st time participating in the Sweet Sunday Challange over at The Sweetest Thing. Here is the sketch we are working from...

I decided to flip the sketch on it's side to use a longer sentiment. I wasn't sure I would like the completed project but I really like how it turned out.  What do you think?  :)

New card...

I just finished this card today - it's been a while since I crafted and wanted to get something done! :) I bought a STASH of buttons last week at Joann's when they were on sale for 50% - now I have over 1000 buttons for less than $10! What a deal! So, of course, I had to put a few of my new buttons to good use.
