Just a Little Love Note - SMS August Release #3

Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone one had a wonderful week!

This is my 3rd project for our August Scrappy Moms Stamps release - a day or so late, sorry time just got a way from me.  (The project was done for almost a week ... really?!?  LOL)

I used the Darice Multi-Circles embossing folder on the front of the card, then I cut a large circle from Lacy Labels and attached the heart music measure cut on MTC (I created the file from an google image).  A small layered rectangle with the sentiment from the new Happy Mail stamp set, a little doodling and done!  :)

Here is the full Happy Mail stamp set...

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Back to School!

Hi, everyone!  Thank you for stopping by to see my Back to School TTC project!  I decided to make a school folder for my kids.  I used clear plastic folders and divided it into 3 sections...

Section 1 - What's Cookin'?  I used this section for the lunch menu (wouldn't want to miss pizza day! LOL) and the school year schedule is on the back side of the envelope.

Section two - School is Cool!  This section has all the classroom/grade information, welcome packets, rules, etc. One pocket per child...

Third Section - Gimme a Jingle!   Pretty self-explanatory - class phone lists.  Note:  I keep all of the past lists too - you never know when you might need a number for a child that is not in this years class.  :)

I made the divider tabs from 12x12 scrapbook paper cut down to fit into a 3-ring binder and used the extra paper to make the tabs. "What's Cookin'? is from the A Pinch and a Dash stamp set, "School is Cool!" is from School Days, and "Gimme a Jingle" is from Quirky Quotes

Come link up your school related project to join us for our Back to School TTC.

Ice Scream, "Happy Birthday!" :)

Welcome!  Today I have my 2nd project for our August release...

I used the cone and ice cream scoop and the sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Ice Cream Social for my card.  I stamped 3 scoops in different inks to make the cone - through trial and error, I learned that it looks best if I taped up the top part of the scoop when I was inking the bottom and middle scoops.  I removed the tape before stamping which leaves a flat top to stamp the next scoop.  Some bakers twine and 3 little gems completed the project.

Here is the full Ice Cream Social set as well as the 2nd set we are releasing, Happy Mail...

I will have more projects using these sets all this week - so will our Scrappy Moms Stamps DT, including August Guest Designer - Candy from Candy's Craft Corner!  Have a wonderful week!

Introducing - Happy Mail and Ice Cream Social!!

Hello everyone - happy Friday!  :)

Today I have  a project using our new Scrappy Moms Stamps Happy Mail stamp set...

This card was so much fun to make - with Happy Mail you can build your own post card - pick your postage stamp, sentiment and add your one embellishment.  I used the sailboat from Life's a Beach and used Cuttlebug's Distressed Stripe embossing folder for the blue background.  :)

Here is the full Happy Mail set and the 2nd set we are releasing for August - Ice Cream Social....

Both sets are in stock and ready to ship!  Our fabulous Design Team, including our August Guest Designer - Candy from Candy's Craft Corner,  will have new projects using these two new sets all week.  :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Digi Fun!

Hello everyone!  :)

My Digi Fun Terrific Tuesday Challenge project is a doozy!  LOL  First - let me tell you that I TOTALLY scraplifted this idea (Here is the original project, including instructions and links, if you would like to take a peek - Magnetic Dress-up Dolls).  When I saw it I knew that I HAD to make it for my middle daughter - she loves anything to do with fashion...

Here are the sweet little digi paper dolls I picked...

Here are all the digi dresses I chose....

You can place at doll on the inside cover to dress her, you can play on the fridge, or for more room you could use a cookie sheet.  :)

All the dolls and clothes fit inside the tin (a gift card tin from Joanns - 5"x3.25") for storage.  I used Photoshop to make the doll and name on the cover of the tin - I printed them on white cardstock and cut them out by hand.  I used the "All Dolled Up" sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Blast from the Past stamp set.  The purple glitter ribbon is from Joanns and the iridescent gems are from a past scrapbook convention.

I hope that you liked my digi creation and that you will come link up your project using any digi element for a chance to will a Scrappy Moms Stamps set of your choice.
