Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Life's A Beach!

Good Morning! Sorry this is up a little late, my bad! :)

For this weeks Terrific Tuesday Challege I used the cruise ship and wave from Life's a Beach. I REALLY wanted it to be a shape card so I had to play with it alot! LOL

I used a sentiment from our new Scrappy Moms Stamps Sun Kissed set - it's one of my favorites, so I HAD to use it! :)

Hope you enjoyed my little card and that you will come join us for this "beach-y" challenge!

Sun Kissed Sneak #3

Happy Sunday! Today I have my 3rd sneak peek project for you today...

I thought it would be fun to add some "real" texture to my beach by using sandpaper, LOL. It's been ripped and inked to create the dune effect.

The surfboard, hibiscus flower and the flip flops are from Life's a Beach. I use my new favorite Fiskars punch for the clouds. The sun is just a small circle that I cut to fit in the corner. Then I used Star Dust Stickles on the sun and the tops of the clouds. I LOVE my stickles! LOL :)

Here is a picture of the full Sun Kissed set...

Sun Kissed Sneak Peek #2

Welcome back! I hope your weekend is off to a good start! We are headed to my hubby's company picnic today - should be fun!! :)

I have a quick little card for you today. I LOVE my Cricut but have been going crazy over "Woodsies" lately! They carry them in all the craft stors - Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Joanns (where I found this one). They are all so cute I wish I could take them all home with me. The make putting a card together REALLY fast and easy. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do with this one when I saw it...

I used this card base for the "My Funny Valentine" card and I fell in love with it so I thought I would pull it up on my Gypsy and re-purpose it here. The base and layers are from Birthday Bash. :)

I was thinking this would be a fun card for Father's Day or even the 4th of July. I hope you all enjoyed it! Be sure to vist the rest of the Scrappy Moms Stamps DT to see what they have created for you - see my side bar for a list. :)

Have a WONDERFUL Saturday!

PS - I added a few more fun "Summer" songs to my playlist at the bottom if you feel in the mode to listen to some more! :)

Introducing Scrappy Moms Stamps new set - SUN KISSED

Happy Friday! Are you going to be out and about enjoying the soon-to-be summer weather this weekend? I know I am - before it hits 100 degrees here is sunny Arizona! :)

In honor of the change of seasons and the school year ending I decided to use our new Sun Kissed stamp set by Scrappy Moms Stamps to make baskets for my kiddos. Here is the one for my almost 3 yr old son and my oldest daughter. (I haven't gotten a book for my Kindergartener yet - bad mommy! LOL)

I cut the sun from the Banner Days SVG file by Lettering Delights but the sun from Doodle charms was my original idea. I used yellow Stickles in the "reflection" on the sun, just for a little sparkle. The sandcastle buckets w/shovels are from Target, as is the beach towel and sunscreen. For my little guy I added a blow-up beach ball, some new sunglasses and new SpongeBob swim trucks. For my daughter I added an inexpesive MP3 player and the final book of the Percy Jackson Serice by Rick Riodan (great books, if you haven't read them yet!).

I thought this would be a fun little way to celebrate the end of the school year and welcome in Summer! :)

Hope you enjoyed my 1st Sun Kissed project! Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT to see their WONDERFUL creations. :)

Friday the 13th Hop w/ Flaunt it Fridays

Happy Friday the 13th, every one! I'm so glad you made it here from Lisa's so scary it's fabulous project! Blogger has been having a Friday the 13th party too - it's 9:30 here in AZ and it finally is up and running after being down since yesterday. LOL

On to the projects....

I made this plaque using the "Friday the 13th" cut from page 54 on Happy Hauntings. I stamped "scary" sentiments from Scrappy Moms Stamps A Haunting We Will Go set all around the cut to make my own "background paper". Then I used my Cropodile to punch holes thru the cardboard and 2 layers of cardstock to hang my ribbon. :)

My card uses the Bride of Frankenstien shilluette and the bat frame from Happy Hauntings. I used lots of tiny gems on her to co-ordinate with my A Haunting We Will Go sentiment. I'm not sure about the orange paper but I think Mrs. Frankie turned out cute!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy (or be terrified by) the rest of the hop! LOL Your next stope is the frightingly crafty Yolanda!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Once Upon a Princess

Happy Tuesday! Thank you for joining me for the TTC challenge for Once Upon a Princess.

Surprise, I didn't make a card or use any stamps! LOL

Both of my daughters' Girl Scouts troops participated in a Rope Runners race this weekend. (You can check out Rope Runners - HERE). For my youngest, we made the castle from OUP - of course, it had to be "glam"! We used glitter and metalic paper for lots of sparkle!

I hope you will all join us for this "royal" challenge - if you don't have Once Upon a Princess you can use a similar cut. So come on and play along with us! :)

I hope all the mother's out there are having a WONDERFUL Mother's Day! :)

The rainbow is a woodsie from Joanns, the edge border is the Martha Stewart Ribbon Loop punch. Three light pink pearls, a pink ribbon and a stamp from our new Scappy Moms Stamps Happily Every After stamp set round out the front design.

I used a sentiment from SMS All in the Family for the inside.

Thank you all for stopping by to take a peek! Have a FABULOUS day - {{{ HUGS }}}

Scrappy Moms Stamps Happily Ever After Blog Hop

Happy Friday, everyone! Thank you SO much for joining us for the Scrappy Moms Stamps Happily Ever After blog hop! :)

I was inspired by the recent royal wedding, wasn't it beautiful?! I hope that my card envokes a memory of that day...

The base of the card is a free SVG file from imagesbyheatherm - I used MTC to weld 2 ovals together. The carriage is from the Royal Wedding SVG set by Lettering Delights. I used my Fiskars cloud punch and then the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder. The twine is from Scrappy Moms Stamps as is the sentiment. :)

Here is a picture of the full stamp set - called, appropriately, Happily Ever After.

Please join the rest of the Scrappy Moms Stamps Design Team and our May Guest Designer for the remainder of the hop!

The new stamp set is in stock and ready to ship! I hope you have a Royally good time on the hop!

Teacher Appreciation Week!

So we are embroiled in Teacher Appreciation week here and I have been a-crafting! LOL

I have two kiddos in school so that means two of everything. First up I made some little shadow box frames for each teacher....

This one is for my youngest's Kindergarten teacher.

This one is for a third grade teacher. I figured that the crayons were a little "young" for a middle grade, so I made the word cloud and use a pencil.

Lastly, I saw these mini-Oreo apples at Skip to My Lou and HAD to give them a try!

They turned out so cute but were pretty time consuming! The cookies kept falling off the toothpicks I was using to help me dip them into the candy melts. But my kiddos reported that they were yummy and well received. :)

Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful day!

For the Kids Hop

Happy Tuesday, everyone!!! Thank you so much for joining me today on the For the Kids hop, hosted by my friend Laura at Makin Pretty Things! I'm sure you loved Bonnie's adorable project!

I decided to make something fun for my three kiddos. Since mustaches are all the RAGE (and because I just bought the Mustache Mania SVG file from Lettering Delights) I came up with these...

I bought three hand mirrors from Dollar Tree and used black vinyl to cut the mustaches. This was a super fast and easy project - it took less than 30 mins from start to finish.

I hope you liked my kids project, have a KID-tastic week! Don't forget to leave me a comment and follow for a chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamp set of your choice.

Your next stop on the hop is the very talented Nicolette from Beyond Scrapin.
