Scrappy Moms Sneak #2 - You blow me away!

Happy Sunday!  Today I have me 2nd project of our SMS October release to show you...

I couldn't decide if I wanted to use a Blowpop lolli or Blowpop Minis ...so I used them both!  :)

I used the little girl from Sugar and Spice and just cut her head. The popped bubble is an old punch from my stash.  The topper on the bag of Minis is from Lacy Labels and I welded a rectangle and triangles on my Gypsy to make the banners.  The lollipop holder is a new toy from MFT - I looped twine from the front to the back to tie the sides together, the pink circle is glued over the twine so you don't see it. Lastly, I used a stamp from our new Candy Grams set...

This set was created to use on candy themed project - they are perfect for treat bags and boxes as well as cards, scrapbooks etc.  :)

The rest of the Scrappy Moms Stamps DT, including our October Guest Designer, Jessica from Passion4Crafting,  will be showcasing new projects made with both new stamp set this month - Candy Grams and Merry & Bright.  :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Sugar & Spice

Happy Tuesday! I am so excited to show you the project I made for this challenge! I love, love, love it!

That's right - is a gum holder! LOL I use Extra bubble gum in the 15 stick pack.

I made the box on my Gypsy with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and George and Basic Shapes - you can download the file here. Just a warning - I couldn't figure out how to make the "tick" marks to indicate where you fold so I had to use a box image and hide all the contours except the tick marks. So...it looks VERY UGLY but if you click on preview (the eye) you can see that it will cut just fine. LOL

Here is a picture (rough though it may be) so you can see how it gets folded. If you have any questions let me know. :)

The box is 10" x 6" so it will use most of a 12" x 12" paper. I recommend you use sturdy cardstock to help with the weight. I glued the twine on the inside of the box when I was putting it together so it comes out of the sides but doesn't show on the back of the box.

The little girls face is from Sugar & Spice (I just cut her head, not her body) and the "popping" bubble is a old punch from Emagination. I used PKS Happy Lashes for her face. I only stamped the eyes and nose - you can't really see the nose, but it's there. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps - Kids Incorporated set.

Thank you so much for taking a peek - I hope you can join us for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge! :)

New Scrappy Moms Stamps Set - Furry Friends!

Hi, everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's day! Thank you so much for all the comments on my Mi Amore Blog Hop Post - I had a wonderful time reading them! :)

Today I have a card made with our brand new Furry Friends stamp set by Scrappy Moms Stamps. I love how it turned out, and I hope you will too!

I used Winter Woodlands for the squirrels, I fliped one so they could "kiss". LOL The card base is from Sugar & Spice and the tag is from Once Upon a Princess. Can I just tell you how much I LOVE my Gypsy! So many cartridges and all cut on 2 passes - one for the card base and one for everything else. And I was so adament that I was NOT going to buy a Gypsy, EVER! LOL

Thank you so much for visiting me today, I will have more Furry Friends projects for you this week. Be sure to stop by and take a peek at what the other Scrappy Moms Stamps Design Team members have for you!

Here's a picture of the new Furry Friends stamp set - they are in stock and ready to ship!
