Two Brand-New Scrappy Moms Stamps sets - Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Little Critters

Hello, hello everyone! Today a have a project to show you that is created with one of the 2 new Scrappy Moms Stamp sets -

I used the lion cut from SVG Cuts Cuddly Animals set - isn't he adorable?!? The scalloped circle was made with a Fiskars punch. The circle is tied to the handle of the Animal Cracker box - I envision these as favors for a circus themed birthday party. I used a sentiment from Little Critters - here is the full set ...

The 2nd set we are releasing today is Girls Just Want to Have Fun...

Our WONDERFUL DT - including our April Guest Designer, Marlene from Scrappin' Cookie - will have new projects using both of these sets all this week. Be sure to visit them to see their fabulous creations! :)

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Anything on a Stick!

Hi, everyone! Thank you for visiting today for this weeks Terrific Tuedsay Challenge - Anything on a stick.

I decided to use a cut from Nifty Fifties...

I didn't use the actual base that goes with the icream float but one of the other geometric shapes. I also didn't cut out the straw and used an actual paper straw. The straw and the stamp(Quirky Quotes set) are both from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

I cut two layers of the cup and used pop dots to separate them so there was room for the straw to fit in the middle. I squished one end of the straw and then cut up both sides so that it would lay flat. The cherry has red Stickles on it for a little bling. I think I could have made the cup a little bigger - but it's done! LOL

I hope you enjoyed my project today, be sure to visit the other DT members to see their great projects!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Easter :)

Can you believe it's almost Easter?

For my TTC project today I decided to try to stamp on fabric. I did a little research and it said that pigment inks will work on fabric, you just need to heat set them. So on I went...

I made these little bunny shaped sacks, the pattern can be found HERE. I left the top open so I could add jelly beans as a treat. The ribbon closes the opening and make the cute shape. Each one of my kids has their one bunny, for my youngest I even used a shirt he recently outgrew. :)

I used VersaFine pigment ink and it worked great - no smearing, no smudging. I didn't wash then after so I'm not sure how it would hold up. If anyone has stamped on fabric before I would love to hear what happened after you wash your project.

The stamp I used is one of my favorites from Scrappy Moms Stamps - The Charmed Life. I hope you like my Easter project today - be sure to check out the other DT projects, they're GREAT! :D

Terrific Tueday Challenge - Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On!

Hello, everyone! I hope that you are all having a wonderful week. I am (hopefully) on the mend. :)

This weeks TTC is to create a project with an Action Wobble. Here is my creation...

I would have loved to had a picture of the balloon in action, but I can never figure out the setting on my camera! LOL

The base is from Lacy Labels, the hot air balloon is from Lettering Delights, and the clouds are from the Fiskar's cloud punches (yes - I have large, medium AND small - I love them). "Enjoy the ride" is from our new SMS Spring Fair stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed my Terrific Tuesday Challenge project, and that you will come join us!

Sneak Peek #2

Happy Sunday, everyone! I'm sorry this post is going up late, the flu has hit my household with a vengence. :(

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you...

I used Scrappy Moms Stamps new Pinwheel Die to create my pinwheels, with one small modification. No brad - since I wanted the pinwheel to lay flat in my scrapbook page I just used adhesive to hold the arms of the pinwheel down instead of using a brad. :)

Please join all of the Scrappy Moms Stamps Design Team - including our March Guest Designer, Jen from Jen's Happy Place - for more new projects with both the Pinwheel Die and our brand new Spring Fair stamp set.

Have a great day!

Terrific Tuesday Challenges - St Patrick's Day1

Can you believe it's alreay March?! That means it's time to think about St Paddy's Day projects. Come join us for this weeks TTC over at Scrappy Moms!

Here is my project -

I made the box by welding the "Top Note" design (Lacy Labels) to a square (George and Basic Shapes) then scoring, cutting to form an open box. I also cut a Top Note of the same size in a patterened paper. The lips are cut from Indie Art and I used a sentiment from SMS The Charmed Life stamp set.

The shamrock is also a project, I made rings for my daughters and I to wear on St Patrick's Day.

The shamrocks are actually pushpins - yes, pushpins! LOL I found these in the dollar section at Joanns.

All I did is cut the pins flush in the back so that I could glue them to the ring base (I used E6000).

I hope you enjoyed my project this week. Have a wondeful one!
